Even in Hokkaido it is considered the top class powder snow, which falls and accumulates at TOMAMU. The weather that can go as low as -20℃preserves the snow, and provides a good condition of the courses with substantial variations for your enjoyment.

  • Academy (lessons)

    GAO Snow Academy fully supports everything from a ski/snowboard debut, to an advanced step-up. At TOMAMU where the high quality of snow is maintained for an easy ski, you may enjoy the lessons while becoming an expert at the same time.

  • GAO Nursery & Playing in Snow

    Besides indoor nursery, we also have programs that incorporate playing in the snow. The nursery room on the side of the ski area can be utilized while you go skiing or snowboarding, knowing the little ones are in good hands.

  • Adventure Mountain & Nipo Town

    There are also comprehensive fields for children to make their winter mountain debut. We have prepared snow escalator for children who cannot ride on the lift, and programs where they can get a step-up in skills while having fun.

    The hidden nice spots of the ski area, areas in the woods, bumpy slopes, area that are normally not available for ski are open to advanced skiers only. (Requires registration in advance and wearing helmets and armbands)

    A 1-day tour for advanced skiers to enjoy some of the best powder snow in the whole country. A professional guide will be leading on a snowcat or hike in the suburb mountains of TOMAMU.
